Last August 2024, Jhoots were evicted for breaching the terms of their lease (non-payment of rent) at Seaton & Colyton Medical Practice. They applied to the court to return and because of the application we were unable to obtain other pharmacy provision whilst the court case was pending.
After a recent court Hearing, the Judge has decided to allow Jhoots back if they settled their debts which they now have. Therefore, Jhoots are entitled to take up their lease again and return to our premises. We would like to apologise to the local community for the lack of pharmacy provision at our site and for the pressure this has put on other local pharmacies. We hope that Jhoots will be able to provide a good service as soon as possible.
